Seattle Skookums Baseball begins with Bottom of the Ninth. It later continues with Base Hit and Out at Home.

The Wolfe brothers connect all three major sports:

Portland Icehawks follows an expansion team composed largely of players left unprotected or discarded by previous organizations. The team is related to the Sockeyes continuity, but the first book establishes Portland clearly enough for a new reader.
Publication order matters because the expansion team’s identity, leadership, friendships, and performance develop throughout the series.

Rebounding (2022): Veteran captain Dash is selected by Portland after expecting to remain with his former team, then becomes attracted to owner’s granddaughter Everly while dealing with an estranged marriage and an uncertain career.
The novel introduces the expansion draft and the misfit group that becomes the Icehawks.
2. Defending
Defending (2023): Grady is forced to play for a coach who is also his estranged father, while his connection with Aspen challenges the guilt and distrust controlling his life.
Family conflict and team pressure make this one of the more continuity-sensitive early Icehawks stories.
3. Roughing
Roughing (2023): Briggs repeatedly pushes Michella away because he fears repeating past damage, but a vulnerable child and a serial-killer investigation force them into close contact.
